Replacement UPVC Door Handles
Find the perfect handle for your door, whether you are replacing your existing handles or adding additional security. The Upvc handles are simple to install and meet the required 92mm centre distance of multipoint locks.
The most important measurements to consider are the backplate fixing centers and key hole dimensions and levers. Check these measurements against your existing measurements prior to making a purchase.
Lever/Pad

Lever pad handles are made up of a lever on one side and a paddle-shaped handle on the other. These are designed to work with key wind locks however, they can also be adapted to multipoint split spindle door locks (though you'll require an additional dual spindle lock case).
Once you have selected the right handle for your doors, the finishes will be listed in the drop-down list. Certain styles of handles are not available in all finishes. You should always check the technical drawing and size sections for the specific item you are looking to ensure that you receive the right size and fit.
It is important that when choosing the new set of upvc lever pad handles, they match the PZ (distance from the handle spindle to the center of the hole in the cylinder) of your multipoint door locks. This is because they are required to be aligned to ensure that doors stay locked, regardless of whether you are looking at them from the inside or from the outside. Our handles are designed to fit the majority of conventional cylinders, but it is a good idea to double-check prior to purchasing.
If you are looking to upgrade to dual spindle levers you will need to remove the handles that are currently in use and then take apart the lock case. This will require an additional split cylinder inline. You can purchase these separately. We have included a technical diagram in the images of each product.
It is recommended to loosen the screws that hold your existing door handle and then check the mechanism. If the screws aren't tight enough, you may need to loosen them even more. Then you can remove the spindle from the handle and replace it with a new upvc handle. It is essential to ensure that the handle is in the right position prior to screwing it into place. You can do this by placing your finger between the door frame and the handle to make sure that it's in the right position.
Lever/Lever
Lever door handles function as an a multi-point lock using the Euro cylinder. They can be found on a majority of double doors made of aluminium, upvc doors, and some wooden doors. They feature an inside lever and an outside paddle and are generally available in two types. Sprung - These include a spring cassette inside the backplate to help to bring the handle lever into the horizontal position. Non-sprung - These do not have a spring mechanism, and must be manually pulled to bring the handle lever to a horizontal position.
To fix the door handle of a lever that is sagging you must locate the detent access hole or pin, which is usually a small round or rectangle with a protruding hole that is located on the opposite side of the base plate. Once you have located the detent access hole or pin, you are able to remove it with a screwdriver.
When the handle is in a horizontal position, you can re-install the screws and tighten them to make sure the handle remains fixed to the base plate. It is also advisable to apply a threadlocking adhesive to the screw threads to improve the grip and stop them from becoming loose over time.
Lever door handles that droop could be the result of a number of factors. The most frequent cause is that the fixings aren't tight, causing the lever bearing to get tangled up against the door. It is also possible that the levers have not been operated at a right angle, which stretches the latch mechanism, preventing it from fully springing into action.
The most common reason for spring levers that are not functioning correctly is the spring not being in the right position on the backplate. The simplest way to check this is to operate the handle to check if it returns to its horizontal position.
If your door handles are loose, it is essential to spot the issue fast, as it could cause excessive wear on the screws and possibly to the handle falling off of the base plate. It is also recommended to tighten any loose screws on a regular basis to prevent them from becoming looser.
Lever/Snib
These upvc handles are also called 'Snib handle sets' and come with a snib lock button at the top of the door lever. If you don't have a dummy locking device, you can use this feature to secure the door. They usually come with a Fullex 68PZ (that's 68mm between the spindle's centre and the lever or the lock centre) door lock. We also stock a range of door handles with 68PZ from manufacturers like Ferco and Fab & Fix.
